this whole thing is really getting me thinking about how we, as a society, respond to these kinds of tragedies... i mean, it's one thing when it's a local case and you know all the people involved, but when it goes national like this... 
does it make a difference if you're from a different faith background? will that affect how much attention or resources get thrown at the case? and what about the fact that Michael Feldman has a super cool background in communications... is he going to be able to tap into those connections to help find his wife's mom? 
i'm just curious if we're doing enough to support these families in need...
