Adolescence lasts into your 30s – so how should parents treat their adult children?

😂👧 I'm literally over here like "yaaas, 30s is def adolescence 🤣". Like, who needs some arbitrary age marker to define this stage? My parents are still trying to navigate their adult child phase with me (yes, I'm 25) and it's LIT 🔥. We have the best fights about money, chores, and whose turn it is to do the dishes 🤣. But for real tho, the key to making it work is just being super chill, having those tough conversations, and letting go of control (gasp 💁‍♀️). And honestly, watching your kid become an adult can be the most beautiful thing ever ❤️ - I mean, my mom says our bond has changed but not diminished 🤩. We're still figuring it out, but at least we're doing it together 👫💕

I was just thinking about that new coffee shop downtown and how they have these insane latte art designs 🤯 I mean, what's up with those? Can't even get the basic cup of joe right without needing to be an artist, lol. Anyway, back to parenting... so many people struggle with setting boundaries as their kids become adults. Like, my friend's kid just moved out and now she has to deal with not being able to "fix" everything all the time 🤷‍♀️ it's hard when you've been used to having that role in your life for so long...
