PSG 1-1 Newcastle: Both sides miss out on Champions League top eight after entertaining draw in Paris

I'm lovin' how Newcastle clawed back from all the drama at the start! That handball claim was a bit dodgy if you ask me, and I'm glad Nick Pope stepped up to save the day. But, fair play to PSG for not giving up - they showed some real grit and determination. It's crazy that Harvey Barnes had such a big miss, though... I reckon he'll be replaying that in his head for ages .

I love how Eddie Howe is praising his team's character though - it's clear they've been through some tough times, but they're still giving it their all. And can we talk about the entertainment value of this draw? Both teams were creating so many chances and had some real moments of magic on the pitch .

Now, I'm a bit worried for Newcastle with those play-off odds looming, but like Howe said, this win should give 'em a big confidence boost. They're gonna need it for those tough away games against Liverpool and City... but if they can keep up this level of performance, who knows?

awww man, i feel bad for newcastle utd they played so well and had some amazing chances, but just couldn't quite snatch it eddie howe must be so proud of his team though - their character and determination are truly inspiring and let's not forget that draw against psg was EPIC i loved how both teams were creating scoring opportunities left and right, it was like a real battle out there on the pitch! anyway, gotta feel for newcastle now having to go through those play-offs... wish 'em all the best

I'm kinda disappointed, you know? It's like when I was watching Old Trafford vs. AC Milan a few years back... Manchester United came from behind to win it, and it was just insane! This game had that same feel, but PSG were just too strong at the end. Harvey Barnes' miss though? That's some crazy stuff right there! Imagine being in his shoes. I'm still buzzing about Newcastle's performance, they showed so much heart and determination. I remember when we used to watch Manchester United come back from 2-0 down against Bayern Munich... epic moments like that are what make football so special

omg what a game i cant believe newcastle almost took down psg they played so well despite being the underdogs i love how joe willock got his first goal in like forever and eddie howe is literally the nicest boss ever he deserves all the praise for keeping it calm after that handball drama and yeah that save by nick pope was insane harvey barnes gotta get those nerves under control next time though lol

PSG was totally off their game , can't believe they were outscored by Newcastle . And Harvey Barnes is such a disappointment , can't believe he missed that chance to win it all . Newcastle deserved the point, they played so much better than PSG did ️. The draw will give them a huge confidence boost ahead of their play-off run . And can we talk about how good Joe Willock was on the pitch? He's always been one of my favorites .
