Boxer Gervonta Davis arrested on attempted kidnapping and battery charges - WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports | Fort Lauderdale

.. can't believe what's going on with Gervonta "Tank" Davis 🤯. Arrested, released, but still got charges pending... sounds like he's saying the whole thing was set up against him 🚫. This guy's got some serious momentum in his boxing career and now this is all coming out? Not good for his rep at all 💔. I'm not saying he's guilty or anything, but if Steckel's really as confident as he says, then we might be seeing a whole lot more than just a simple case of mistaken identity 🤔. This one's definitely got everyone in the boxing world on edge...

🤔 just think about it, like what's gonna happen to his career now? 30 wins with 28 knockouts ain't enough to save him from this one 😬 and yeah, Steckel's statement is definitely raising some questions... it's like, if Davis' own team thinks he's the victim, then maybe there's more to this story than meets the eye 🤷‍♂️

I'm not buying all this drama around Gervonta "Tank" Davis 😒. I mean, he was arrested for attempted kidnapping and false imprisonment, but now his lawyer is saying he's the victim? Sounds fishy to me 🐟. He's been in trouble with the law before, too - domestic violence charges that got dropped last summer. What's going on here?

I'm not saying Davis isn't a talented boxer, but this all sounds like a big PR stunt to me 💁‍♂️. If he was really the victim, wouldn't his lawyer be talking about that? And why did this happen just before his fight with Jake Paul? It's too convenient.

I'm watching this case closely, and if it's not just a bunch of BS, then Davis needs to come clean about what really happened 🤔.

OMG u guys, i'm literally shook by this news about Gervonta Davis! 🤯 I mean i love boxing as much as the next person but who tries to kidnap someone? 😱 and now he's claiming he's the victim?! 🙄 that's a big difference. and let's not forget he was arrested last summer for domestic violence... red flags, amirite? 🚨

I'm all for giving people a second chance but this whole situation is just so suspicious. I need more facts before i can even begin to believe Davis' side of the story. And what about Jake Paul's lawsuit against him? Was that really just a fluke or is there something more going on here?

This case needs to be thoroughly investigated ASAP. The boxing world is watching, and fans deserve to know the truth. 🏉👀

Man, this whole thing smells fishy 🤔. I mean, Davis is a big-time boxer, but that don't necessarily make him above the law, you feel? And what's up with his attorney trying to spin this as him being a victim? It sounds like he's just trying to deflect attention from himself 🙄.

And let's not forget, this isn't even Davis' first run-in with the law. Last summer he was arrested for domestic violence and it got dropped - that's some weird justice right there 😒. I'm not saying he's guilty or anything, but it does make you wonder if there's more to this story than we're being told.

I think what Steckel is trying to do here is create a narrative that'll distract from the real issue at hand - whatever did happen on October 27th 🤷‍♂️. It's like he's trying to pivot the conversation away from his client's alleged wrongdoing and onto some other angle.

It's gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out, I'm sure. One thing's for sure, though: if Davis is found guilty, it'll definitely make him a cautionary tale about accountability in sports ⚖️.
